I feel like if dreamwidth had a dedicated app, people would be more inclined to use it. Not that it's dead in the water by any means, there are plenty of active communities I like to browse still. Just the old fandom spaces are basically ghost towns now, and I feel like for a new user the site wouldn't be as easy to get into and find your footing.
In other non rambly news, I've been writing a bunch of polin fics this year (Bridgerton). I got into reading for the pairing a while ago but this year I started writing for them ♡
I started with a regency zombie au and now I'm in the process of writing/finishing a three part hunger games au which is over 100k and the longest thing I've ever written 💀❤️
