Patrick/Gerard is so interesting to me. Jsyk, this is not like the time Patrick/Bert was interesting to me, or maybe it is. Character dynamics, man.

But, like. They're interesting, I've read them a couple times before because Gerard is my favoritefavoritefavoritefavoriteeverrr and so is Patrick, and them together can only be sweet things, right? Right.

And like, in my 'summer of like' fanon, while Pete and Mikey were ~doing their thang, I like to think that Patrick and Gerard were, too. And then in the end, Patrick and Pete realize they are MFEO and go to Canada and adopt babies. Obviously. But that's real life.

*ahem*

But anyway, like, the Patrick/Gerard thing keeps playing in my head because, dudes, how did they get naked at all, ever? And how did one of them bring up getting naked in the first place? And the hand gestures of doom between them. Oh my god. Like:

Patrick looks up at Gerard. "Umm, so." He gestures and Gerard blinks. He gestures again and Gerard squints at him.

"What?"

"Aren't you going to," Patrick trails off, waves his hand at Gerard's body.

"Aren't you going to...?" Gerard waves at Patrick.

"How about you go first."

"How about you go first."

Patrick sighs, bites his lip for a little while, thinking, before he offers, "Scissors, paper, rock?"

Gerard smiles wide at him like "that is the best idea!" and Patrick feels all smug and a little proud before he realizes how ridiculous it is to feel that way. Just. Gerard-praise, ok?

They're about to play when suddenly they hear Frank yell just outside the bunk, "OH MY GOD, WILL YOU TWO JUST GET NAKED. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST."

HOW WOULD THEY GET ANYWHERE PAST KISSING IDK IDK.

They would make sense to me as a couple that happened, though. They are compatible. I would write that. (So what if at the back of my mind the unwritten ending is always "AND THEN PATRICK ENDED UP WITH PETE. THE END.")

Now, I will not say much about what makes Patrick/Bert interesting to me, because that pairing ALONE says it all. But I will say one thing: Pete Wentz and the McCracken that hates him.



OKAY GUYS now discuss pairing dynamics and things with meee, like, how you think Bandom-Dude-A would be like with Bandom-Dude-B. It can be any pairing, I do not care (though no chicks? I hate the chicks sry 2 say) I am bored and feel like shit and I want to talk to you, damn it!

We can discuss fic ideas or whatever too, I am just bored and want people to speak to, ok? Ok.

But seriously, I don't know. Bandom dynamics are kind of like quantum physics. Anything, any interaction, is possible at any point in time provided that is breaks no standing rules/laws/lines in the sand. All one truly needs is sound theory.

Ashlee/Pete/Patrick. It's a poly V. Possibly a triangle. And it makes perfect sense. Ashlee is like Pete with boobs and less insomnia. Think about it. Pete and Ashlee would be all "yeah, what, you didn't see this coming?" and Patrick would be all "NO! D:". But he's warm up to it and they would be a happy family unit with Bronx and puppies and just happiness.

Hmmm, in relation to the universe, Pete Wentz is the potential black hole slowly pulling everything towards himself. He's the dark matter that is there, everywhere, but can't quite be seen. Or something. I don't know. How did you get me started on all this, woman?!

lmao this is on my iPhone keyboard so it will have typos but!!! I pretty much ship Patrick/Anyone but in my head it will always end with P/P otherwise it is not CANON. I also ship Pete/Jos but that is a secret.

I love Joe because he's so chill and funny and slightly sarcastic and is overall a REALLY GOOD GUY. I think with any pairing he'd be in it'd be a comfortable relatively drama free pairing. Which is why I ship Patrick/Joe, Pete/Joe, and Pete/Patrick/Joe more than quite a few people.

I haven't read MCR fic in a while but I agree with you about Patrick/Gerard. THEY MAKE ME LOL AND ARE BELIEVABLE. Andreally it goes back to me shipping Patrick/Anyone. I haven't read any Patrick/Brendon but I'd like to see their dynamic, especially after the breakup and how Patrick could ~help him both musicay and help him maybe get over he fact that his band didn't work out. Hell, I even thought of Patrick/Shane Valdes the other day because I am crazy, but Patrick is easily my favorite and I like seeing how he'd be in relationships/dynamics with other people. Which is why I totally ship Patrick/Gabe and
Patrick/Travie etc etc~

Pete/Patrick isn't my first otp and it won't be my last, but right now it's my favorite and totally has standing power. For the longest time I stayed in the MCR part of bandom and was like 'lolpetewentz' but he's sort of stolen my heart. I used to wanna slash Joe! Because I love Joe's everything, only, only he reminds me too much of my brother and there is this brain block of DDDD: that I cannot get past and it sucks and it's sad :(((

I JUST DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY WOULD GET TO THE POINT WHERE THEY WOULD ADMIT THEIR FEELINGS. In a way it's too much shyness, low self esteem (see: both are never-nudes) earnestness and hand gestures to fit in one relationship D:! But it would be adorkable, and Gerard did say Patrick was his favorite that one time. Patrick/Brendon is also interesting! Sometimes I feel like writing these pairings just to see how it would go.

Patrick/Shane is... idek, but in the whole network of bandom it's actually possible. Also that is totally not a pairing I've ever considered ever but now I'm thinking about it, so \o/

Well.. if you're not gonna go into it, I will :D Everything comes back to Pete/Patrick for me, after being in MCR fandom for so long and the drama and the Bert/Gerard drama and the finally accepting that I will never see Under Pressure live ever ;____; they were just, like, full of love and rainbows and I never even considered slashing them before, so it was like a weird surprise. They're just. BFF! and Pete makes a point to not let anybody forget that at any time, everyday, just in case we did &them; so much
